Exposition: A post apocalyptic San Francisco. Most civilization is wiped out and the surface is a radioactive wasteland. There are two types of people that still remain: those that lived on the surface and survived the nuclear war, and those that avoided the fallout by taking shelter in special bunkers. The surface is currently a lawless place littered with bandit groups, with the exception of a few small settlements. Now a boy that was recently kicked out of his vault must survive the surface.
Inciting Incident: The boy gets addicted to Nuka-Cola and begins stealing it while living inside the vault. The vault elders vote to have him exiled from the vault into the wastelands.
Rising Action: The boy travels around trying to quench his thirst for Nuka-Cola, the radioactive soft drink of the wastelands. Without it he will die. He learns that there is a warehouse nearby filled that has a freezer filled with Nuka-Cola and is guarded by bandits. He attempts to eliminate the bandits and take the Nuka-Cola.
Climax: The boy guns down the bandit group and the blood attracts nearby mutants. His Geiger counter is destroyed as he is trying to run away. He locks himself in the freezer to hide from to mutants and starts quenching his thirst for Nuka-Cola.
Falling Action: He is able to survive several hours inside the freezer.
Resolution: He dies from radiation poisoning from the Nuka-Cola.
